Number One on Maslow's Hierachy of Needs is Food (along with Shelter, Air, Water and Sex!). It certainly is for me! One of my favorite things to do besides eating with friends is Cooking with Friends. There is something so fun and personal about it--plus it results in a meal! (or cake, or whatever). This blog will chronicle a journey based on the wonderful connection and experience between people who cook together. To start, I invite each of you to cook with me at my house. I want to set aside a couple of days a month to do this. You decide what we cook and what you want it to result in. For example: maybe you have always wanted to bake a genoise, or the gooiest mac n cheese, or have an old family recipe you have been dying to try--we can do that! And maybe you want to take that cake home for a special occasion, invite someone special up to dinner after we cook, or just cook it and eat it with me. I don't care! As long as its edible, we can make it--together. Now who is going to sign up for February??
